  1. IMG_0532Whatever your topic, research it thoroughly.
  2. Try writing in different genres and then work out what feels like you, the most.
  3. Make each word count.
  4. Live life to the fullest – allowing for the experiences that will breathe life into your words.
  5. When preparing to write, give significance to your craft, by dressing as if you are going to a place of work. (Sort of gets the mind in order.)
  6. Allow yourself to fall in love with what you are writing about, this will then come through, on each and every page.
  7. Never give up.
  8. Reach out to Writers, such as Elizabeth Gilbert on social media. Sometimes just an acknowledgment from someone so accomplished, is enough to inspire a person to keep writing, when the rest of the world doesn’t seem to care.
  9. Be brave and cast your writing out to the world, even if you are afraid of what response you will receive and you will feel vulnerable, opening yourself up in this way.
  10. Oh… and did I mention, never give up?

What writing tips can you share?
