“In the space between yes and no, there’s a lifetime. It’s the difference between the path you walk and the one you leave behind; it’s the gap between who you thought you could be and who you really are; its the legroom for the lies you’ll tell yourself in the future.”

A Pictorial Tour of Essex

Definition: The act of moving between two or more possibilities

I realised that we only have choice because of one thing and that one thing is awareness. The fulcrum (the point or support on which a lever pivots) of our choices, is awareness.

It is only by becoming aware of ourselves we can assist in making the choice which is right for the time, situation, moment, experience.

There is far more to us as human beings, than I think many would give time or attention to and I believe that only when we have achieved an enlightened state of awareness, does this allow us to recognise true choice. Only then do we then have the opportunity to pick freely.

What are your thoughts on Choice. Do you think it functions on many levels or do you believe there is only true choice?

P.S This post being about choice has me looking at changing my site to reflect where I am at the moment- in flux – and would appreciate some feedback on which design you prefer. My old  or new. Thank You. 🙂

  1. I like the ‘new’ 🙂 Choice is like sliding doors; which one? Mmmm….I think it does function on many levels and because of those ‘many levels’, some of us have middle names that mean ‘indecisive’ Lol!
